About BOLLO
It started with a meat sauce.
In the spring of 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, friends Harald, Joel and Jason decided to write a book about one of the world's best everyday dishes – meat sauce. What began as a book project would eventually become BOLLO.

It all starts with a book.
Harald, Joel and Jason decide to write an entire book about meat sauce. A fairly narrow subject, you might think. We thought the opposite. The hunt for the truly great meat sauce had begun.
November 2021
Off to Bologna.
Next stop: Bologna – the mecca of ragù. Here the obsession with ragù alla bolognese deepens, and the idea of BOLLO starts to grow.
Next chapter: BOLLO Stories.
Alongside the book project we create BOLLO Stories – an organic wine made from the Sangiovese grape from Romagna DOC in Italy, 13,5 % vol. Sold at Systembolaget.

2021–2022
BOLLO leaves the pages.
The book and the wine launch, and during 2022 we take BOLLO out into the real world with guest appearances at restaurants around Sweden.
March 2023
Can weeknight food be made easier?
After all those years of meat sauce, pasta, restaurants and dinners, the next idea is born: really good ready-made sauces that make it easier to get great food on the table. Work on the BOLLO pasta sauces begins.
October 2023
BOLLO hits the grocery store.
The first BOLLO sauces launch in Swedish grocery stores. What started as a book about meat sauce has become a food brand.

Good food. Less fuss.
Today BOLLO makes sauces and other good things for people who want to eat really good food without starting every dinner with two hours of cooking.
